As you can see,
Tibiascoop is in the very early stages of development, meaning anyone can help shape this new fansite to their liking. We're open to any ideas for features, as well as ideas for layouts and designs. Obviously we have some ideas in mind already, but here at
Tibiascoop, the community is what matters, and if there are features you'd like to see or certain layout styles that many of you are keen to, we'll try to work it into the site.
Tibiascoop aims to bring news of all sorts to those who would find it interesting. We understand that there are many different types of players, and many different ways to enjoy the game. With this in mind, we have been developing ideas that would allow users to choose which news, pictures, and videos they want to watch based on their personal mood or preference, a lot like the channels of a television. Splitting news into interest groups allows you, the users, to easily find what you're looking for... news! However, this means that the backbone of
Tibiascoop will be the community.
To keep
Tibiascoop alive, there needs to be frequently added news content, but this cannot be done entirely by the staff, alone.
Tibiascoop will rely heavily on the submissions of its users, meaning if nobody gives us news to post, the site will die! Though being able to utilize a constantly updated news site should be motivation enough, we know that some people need a little more motivation to do a little bit of work. For this reason, we have also devised a system which rewards and automatically ranks users for submitting news, pictures, and videos! The top level of contributors will also receive special forum titles, to help identify and honor them in the community.
Submitting news, images, or videos will be quick, easy, and comfortable to do. Our philosophy is that if you find something interesting, chances are, many other players would to. Tibia is comprised of many groups, each with a distinct personality, and
Tibiascoop will try to accommodate everyone's news needs. Our talented staff will also post articles and interviews that will range in theme, from wars, to roleplaying, to just talking with famous players.
At this crucial part in the development stage, the site will benefit from all the proposals it can get. So don't be afraid to post any ideas you may have. Even if it is an idea that you don't think would necessarily fit in a news-oriented site, we might be able to incorporate it into
Tibiascoop. To submit an idea to us, head over to the
Proposal Board , search for similar topics, and if there is nothing similar you can post your idea. Having public proposals means that people can freely add to or help revise your idea, and lets you all see which direction
Tibiascoop might take.
Tibiascoop is a fansite for the players, by the players. Any contribution you can make will help the site flourish into a widely recognized and used news site.
